Jeff and Robin Sparks have owned and operated The Medicine Shoppe since 1992. Jeff received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in 1980 and a Masters in Business Administration from KU in 1988. He has worked in hospital and retail pharmacy before coming to Bolivar. Robin is a registered nurse who works at The Medicine Shoppe and provides health care screenings to customers. Jeff and Robin are active in the Bolivar community and their church.

Sonja O'Bryan, PharmD, received her pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and her Doctorate in Pharmacology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Sonja has 20 years experience in pharmacy including professsional practice in administration, hospital, retail, long term care, consulting, oncology, and in academia as a university professor and student preceptor.
Dr. O'Bryan has a passion to help people become healthy and lose weight. She designed the 12 week Pharm-ASSIST to assist people to reach their weight loss goals in a healthy way. She is also available for private hormone consultations to women, young and old, who are suspicous of hormone related symptoms. Elizabeth Simmons, Certified Shoe Fitting Specialist, is available for shoe fittings by appointment. She has been successful in helping many individuals find the right pair of shoes and orthotics specific to their feet problems, including diabetic patients. She has been employed with The Medicine Shoppe for 5 years and has been a Certified Shoe Fitting Specialist for four years. |
